The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is an all-wheel drive premium F-class station wagon (according to the European classification) and, concurrently, the first car in the “summer cottage” version of the body in the history of the German brand “Porsche” ... It combines the dynamics of a “true supercar” and practicality “ cargo-passenger model "...

For the first time, a production car was presented to a wide audience in early 2017 during an online presentation, but it debuted as a concept of the same name in the fall of 2012 at the Paris Auto Show.

The front half of the "universal" Porsche Panamera repeats the liftback, and all its differences begin with the B-pillars - the "shed" demonstrates a less sloping roofline and increased rear door openings, but at the same time looks elegant, harmonious and, most importantly, recognizable.

The cargo-passenger version of the Panamera stretches 5049 mm in length, its wheelbase reaches 2950 mm, and the height and width of the body are 1428 mm (in the Turbo version - 1432 mm) and 1937 mm, respectively.

In the "stowed" form, the five-door weighs from 1840 to 2170 kg, depending on the solution.

At the front, the interior of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is entirely borrowed from the liftback - a striking design with a large display on the front, expensive materials, high-quality workmanship and bucket seats.

A three-seater sofa is installed in the back of the station wagon, but the massive central tunnel immediately hints: the fifth, if not superfluous, then certainly "temporary". Although, as an option, the sofa here can be replaced with two separate seats equipped with an electric adjustment.

The trunk of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is slightly larger than that of the standard version: by default it holds 520 liters of luggage under the shelf, and with the second row folded in proportion “40:20:40” - 1390 liters when loaded “to the ceiling” (in a hybrid - from 425 to 1295 liters).
For a surcharge, the car is provided with a "hold" organizer (moving on a sled in the floor) and a 230-volt socket.

On the Russian market, "Panamera" in a cargo-passenger body can be purchased in four modifications (all of them are discussed in detail in the liftback reviews), which are equipped with an 8-band PDK transmission and all-wheel drive with a multi-plate clutch responsible for connecting the front axle:

  • Basic variant Panamera 4 has a gasoline 3.0-liter "heart" V6 with direct injection and turbocharging, developing 330 "horses" at 5400-6400 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 1340-2900 rpm.
  • It is followed by the Panamera version. 4S, under the hood of which "hides" a 2.9-liter "six" with a V-shaped structure, direct "power supply" and two turbochargers, producing 440 "horses" at 5650-6600 rpm and 550 Nm of peak performance at 1750-5500 rpm.
  • Panamera execution Turbo "Flaunts" a 4.0 liter V8 engine with twin turbocharging and direct fuel delivery, producing 550 "mares" at 5750-6000 rpm and 770 Nm of available potential at 1960-4500 rpm.
  • Hybrid modification Panamera 4 E-Hybrid is armed with a 2.9-liter V6 petrol unit, producing 330 "stallions" and 450 Nm, an electric motor with a return of 136 forces and 400 Nm and a lithium-ion battery of 14.1 kW / h. Its total potential is 462 "heads" and 700 N ∙ m.
  • "Top" Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid boasts a 4.0-liter V-8 petrol engine with two turbochargers, producing 550 hp. and 770 Nm of torque, a 136-horsepower electric motor (400 Nm) and lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 14.1 kW / h. Combined, the hybrid powertrain generates 680 horsepower and 850 Nm of peak thrust at 1400 rpm.

In running exercises, a station wagon practically does not differ from a liftback: from a standstill to 100 km / h, it breaks down after 3.4-5.5 seconds, rushes to 259-310 km / h and "eats" from 2.5 to 9.5 liters of fuel for every "hundred" in mode "highway / city".

As for the "double-moving" modifications, they are capable of accelerating to 140 km / h exclusively on an electric drive, while covering 49-51 km (their electricity consumption varies from 16 to 17.6 kW / h per 100 km of run).
A full charge of lithium-ion batteries takes between 2.4 and 6 hours for hybrid vehicles, depending on the power source used and the type of charger.

The technical "stuffing" of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is identical to the standard model: MSB platform with double wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension with pneumatic elements "in a circle", body made of modern materials, fully steerable chassis, ventilated disc brakes on each wheel and electromechanical power steering.

In Russia, the cost of the "barn" Porsche Panamera, according to data for 2017, starts from the level of 6 667 000 rubles - this is how much you need to pay for the "basic" version with a 330-horsepower engine. For "eSku" dealers ask already from 8,079,000 rubles, the hybrid version is offered at a price of 7,823,000 rubles, "Turbo-performance" will cost no less than 10,308,000 rubles, and the "top" solution "Turbo S E-Hybrid »Offered for 12,244,000 rubles. The initial and additional equipment of the station wagon is exactly the same as that of the liftback.
