The Range Rover Evoque Coupe is a three-door premium compact SUV that, like its five-door sibling, is focused on the urban environment, but offers a slightly more dynamic exterior design, a four-seater interior and less practicality ...

The British coupe-crossover made its official debut in July 2010 - at a special show in London, and celebrated its full-fledged premiere in September of the same year - at the International Motor Show in Paris.

In March 2015, an updated car was born, which was tweaked in appearance, improved the quality of the interior, added new options and "shaken up" the power palette.

The exterior of the Evoque Coupe is in many ways similar to the 5-door version of the Range Rover Evoque, but there are still some differences:

  • First, there are three doors instead of five.
  • Secondly, the Evoque Coupe has a slightly more sloping roof.
  • And, thirdly, the base of the "three-door" has 19-inch rims (while the "five-door" has 17-inch wheels).

The three-door is 4371 mm long, does not exceed 1965 mm in width, and 1625 mm in height. The gap between the wheelsets is 2660 mm for the "Briton", and its ground clearance is 216 mm.

In the front, the interior of Range Rover Evoque Coupe repeats that of the five-door model - modern and thoroughbred design, thoughtful ergonomics and high quality workmanship.

By default, the interior of the crossover has a five-seater layout, but only two will be comfortable on the back sofa (since the "middle seat", despite the presence of a headrest, looks more like a "divider" than a full-fledged seat).

The luggage compartment here is designed to accommodate from 550 to 1350 liters of luggage (depending on the position of the rear seat).

For the three-door "Evoka", the same power units are declared as for the regular model (with the exception of the base 150-horsepower diesel engine), which are combined with a 9-band automatic transmission:

  • The diesel part consists of an aluminum 2.0-liter turbocharged, direct injection, 16-valve timing engine that generates 180 horsepower at 4000 rpm and 430 Nm of torque at 1500 rpm.
  • The petrol range includes a 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol engine with direct feed and 16 valves, which is available in two versions:
    • 240 h.p. at 6000 rpm and 340 Nm of peak thrust at 1900-3500 rpm;
    • 290 horsepower at 5500 rpm and 400 Nm at 1500-4500 rpm.

The maximum SUV is capable of accelerating to 195-231 km / h, and it takes 6.3-9 seconds to conquer the first "hundred".

Cars with diesel engines consume 4.9 liters in the combined driving mode, and with gasoline engines - from 7.2 to 7.9 liters.

In terms of the chassis, Range Rover Evoque Coupe copies a five-door crossover: fully independent suspension based on MacPherson struts in a circle, all-wheel drive based on Haldex multi-plate clutch, disc brakes (ventilated at the front) and electric power steering for excellent maneuverability in urban conditions.

In the Russian market, the "three-door Ewok", as of 2018, is presented in two trim levels "SE Dynamic" (at a price of 3 352 000 rubles) and "HSE Dynamic" (at a price of 3 769 000 rubles).

The off-road vehicle is equipped with seven airbags, 18-inch wheels, a multimedia system with an 8-inch display, a navigator, a dual-zone "climate", front and rear parking sensors, an electric drive and heated front seats, ABS, ESP and other modern equipment.
